| When your fist hits the wheel, to drive is to feel... |

... and the animals think that we've got it all wrong.
Anyway. Troubled Hubble goodness, indeed. Last night was the concert and it was sweaty, beer drenched fun at it's best. The crowd surfing was uh.. hilarious. Mostly there was no surfing to it, just being held up. Occasionally, a person would just get turned around and around. It was funny stuff. Injuries sustained while jumping about are minimal, but my elbow is angry at me that it got pushed backward too many times.
But it was a lot of good fun. After no one moved during Gypsy Cab Company's set, a group of us decided that we would mosh about the entire rest of the concert, and did really well at accomplishing that goal. The one bad thing was that some wet something got spilled right under where I was standing, so it was top of dangerous. Oh well.
Other than that... my car is living up to his name, Loki. If you dunno, Loki is sort of a mischevous god. Why would I name my car something so seemingly ill fated? I thought it was funny. But yes, flat tires abound, and have caused me to miss class today. I probably could have gone, but it would have required tremendous will power, and I don't have any more of that in relation to school. Oh well, I'll stay home and watch Pet Psychic. Hehehehe...
Anyway. I'm going to go now, and I leave you with this: "I don't like reggae, oh no, I love it."
Random bit for the day: White specks on fingernails have varying significance, according to the finger on which they appear. Thus, one on the thumbnail usually means a present, on the forefinger, the coming of a friend, on the second finger, that of a foe. If one appears on the fourth finger, it foretells a journey. A black or yellow spot on any fingernail is a very bad sign, and usually means a death.

Mmmmm. Troubled Hubble goodness. Oh wait, that was a Skittle. Heh. My mistake.
Today is dragging hardcore. Like wading-through-green-jell o sort of dragging. Everything goes by much faster when you're sleep deprived, unless it's going in horrible slow motion. I told my Technical Communication professor that I missed her class Monday due to personal mental health reasons and she just laughed at me. Oh well though, it's not going to count against me as far as grades go. So one more day of class. Just ONE! And then Spring Break. I am what one might call burnt out. And I still have to finish putting my portfolio together tonight. Sigh. I'll probably watch a movie instead. That'll be fun. Oh crap. I still have to do research for my news report tomorrow. That's okay, I guess.
But then - next week will be beautiful. Beautiful, beautiful. Sleep and art and Carlsbad Caverns. And frickin homework! Grrrrrr! What kind of a person would assign homework over spring break? It's just not fair. Or fun. Or morally okay.
But anyway. If you guys want to suggest songs for me to play on my shift this week, that would be cool. Until then, I'm going to go home and make buttons.
Teh Jessie!
Oh! My fortune: You will be fortunate, if you accept the next proposition you hear.

And after Wal-Mart, I watched the South Park with Radiohead as a guest. Now, I used to love South Park back in the day. Like.. before anyone knew about it. It was pretty clever then, but I'm not so sure it is now. And it makes me sad that other people know about it. Because other people are stupid a lot of the time.
And then I went home and it was a good day. And I listened to Metropolis on the way home, and it was funny, despite the fact that I don't know much about comics. But it was funny anyway. Maybe I was just tired.
My fortune for the day: You will be the next in life for a promotion.
By the way, if you don't know about Engrish.com, you should.

| My feet are awfully cold.... |

... and wet, too. I think Texas Tech thinks it's funny to make studetns wade across campus to class. That's right, I said Texas Tech, not the administrators, not the professors, like... the campus. I'm like that kid from the Creepy Susie book that thinks things smile when he's not looking. I really do. I think the sidewalk hogs all the rain because secretly it always wanted to be a river. And the wind is vicious, it likes to blow your umbrella away so that all your projects get soaked and ruined. But the architecture building loves the rain. It has all these wide-eyed windows to watch the rain through. And it's beautiful. The new Student Union building loves the rain, too, since it's mostly all glass. But they have crappy food there, so we won't talk about it any more.
Yesterday was a lot of fun. I was supposed to participate in some free speech, but it had to get canceled because of "rain" or something. So instead, a bunch of us radio-station-heads went and had some ice cream. And then Steve played the piano (he has a beautiful voice), and then we went to the crazy radio station staff meeting. And Steve just kept singing. And we had the meeting, and it was good. I was named newscaster of the month, because I'm "just that smooth." Then I took Steve to Wal-Mart because he wrecked his car, and he bought chocolate, water, and a birthday card. And he was still singing. More later...
